Appreciation for Alibaba

Without sounding overly melodramatic, I’d just like to dedicate this post to my fellow team members of Alibaba; Alicia, Alvin and Xixi. The entire series of events leading up to our proposal and presentation has just been a whirlwind experience. Albeit one that I’ll have many fond memories of in years to come. The interview with Ms Tio, the many weekends and recess week burnt away, Alvin’s ingrown nail and eccentric actions, Alicia’s obsession with Macs and Xixi’s birthday rehearsal – the list goes on. This has been definitely one of the better project experiences I’ve had in my university life to date.

I’m extremely thankful to having you people as my group members. We were serious and focused on producing a quality proposal. At the same time we took it down a notch with a jovial and light hearted approach whenever possible. The hard work seems to have paid off and in any case what ultimately matters is that we gave it our all. All the best with your exam preparations!! Cheers

  1. Hi Vinod,
First of all, It is glad to hear you had fun of your lifetime while being in your group. And at the same time you all did a very good job in your presentation. I highly appreciate the correct balance of presentation slide demo and verbal interaction
Good job again!!!.... I could totally make out key details of your proposal and slides gave a good reference to it. Gestures used were good, proper eye contact this time and good voice projection!!!.

I think your hard work could easily be seen. Nice job.

  2. Hi Vinod,

First I would like to thank your whole group for conducting a so nice presentation on Monday. A lot of efforts were put and the overall presentation was very effective.

I especially like your speech the most and you have explained your methodology part very clearly. You looked confident and the pace was just right. What you have done in the Q&A session was excellent, just to the point and the point was well supported. Actually, I could not find any flaw in your presentation and you have set a good example for all of us:)

  3. Hi Vinod,

Kudos for your superb delivery! When I first heard about your little analogy of the anti-smoking campaign, I was like "WHERE DID THAT COME FROM"? But boy, I was impressed by it. Anyway, back to your presentation, you stood confidently and answered the questions professionally. Most importantly, you devoted your attention entirely to the audience. :)

Thanks for all your effort in this assignment. I know you had many other on-going projects but you placed equal importance on our project. Also, I would always remember the fun times we had(bullying Alicia) despite being stressed up and all. Once again, thanks V.

    Cheers,
    Alvin

  4. Hey Vinod!

Two words, superbly done! (: Your presentation was definitely top-notch on the actual day and I'm happy for you! (: Great eye-contact, excellent engagement with the audience and smooth delivery all rolled into one. I have to admit that the rehearsals on Sunday really freaked me out and left me feeling very uncertain and worried for the actual OP. But I was sure that the Vinod I knew would definitely not let us down and I'm glad you didn't! It was a presentation nicely done and like what Alvin said, thank you for placing equal importance on our project. (:

Thank You Vinod, for being a part of this group. (: It was really a great pleasure working with you (despite all the bullying ):) and I got to admit that I really learnt a lot from you. And I'm glad that from a groupmate, you've become more of a friend, someone I could share my thoughts and feelings with and I'm really thankful for that. Though we had so many meetings regularly, but I enjoyed everyone of them (i think!). Haha, anyway, all in all, thank you so much, heartfelt gratitude that words cannot express! Remember my treat okay, and I'll treat you to roti prata soon! ^^

All the best for finals! See you around! (:

  6. Hi Nanhai,

You're being too nice on me again. I knew there were flaws in my presentation but the fact that you couldn't really spot them shows encouraging signs about how I can cover them away haha. I really value your kind comments and as mentioned earlier on your blog, you were indeed a model from whom I tried to extract the positives out and adjust my speeches accordingly so thanks for that!!

  7. Hi Alvin,

I clearly remember asking you for an opinion about the smoking campaign example and warren buffet stories that I was about to use in my speech and I can safely say that your words of advice went a long way to me projecting a confident outlook when presenting them. The approving words of a fellow team member can mean all that more and I just had to highlight it here. If anything I wish to give credit for your constructive comments about that aspect. About the other on going projects, I only drew comfort and motivation from you guys which made it so much easier so thanks for that too!!

  8. Hi Alibaba,

Like I mentioned before, I was so disappointed with myself after the rehearsals on Sunday which left me with a bitter feeling that all our efforts were futile and there was no bright light at the end. I was indeed feeling a little low and will not forget your messages for a long time. Firstly the encouraging one to lift my spirits and reassure me that it was going to turn out fine and also secondly the one about our proposal scores. They really had a rousing impact on me and I felt rejuvenated and pumped up to every single vein in my body. Thank you again for that and as for being more than just an ordinary group member, I share the same sentiments and hope that we have a second chance on some other project in the near future :)

  9. Lifre of students are filled with such things that they have derived from their talented mind. They should take opportunity for them to do something different from others. So for doing all this they need time apart from their studies. The writing services give them that only. They do the work on behalf of the student and provide them time to accelerate them in their life. College is also place for enjoyment and the student should release that one it is gone they won’t get time to enjoy. So managing the things along with studies is aussiessay the best and approved option which will never fail them. They should always do what they want to
